Cubic Confusion is a puzzle/platformer game in which levels must be turned in all directions to be solved! The player is a different robot and must manipulate the cubic levels to find the exit.
I worked on this project for 2 months with 4 game designers and 2 game programmers. I took care of the game design in general and the 3D modeling of the characters.

I worked with game designers and programmers for almost 2 months to create a puzzle/platform game in 2.5D.
The biggest challenge was probably the implementation of the USP: the manipulation of a cubic level on which are the characters that we embody.
The idea was to give each level to the player as if it were a puzzle. With the team, I really wanted to transmit this "toy" feeling that you can manipulate and turn in all directions.

In this project, a GD colleague and I were responsible for the 3D models. We were modeling on Maya so that someone else could then animate from Unity.
I was therefore busy modeling the 4 characters first in high poly for presentations and stages, then in less good resolution for the game.
Unfortunately these models as many others have never been integrated and in the final version of the game there are free assets of robots.
